Jazz band and chamber orchestra perform at Thurgood Marshall, John Muir, and Bailey Gatzert elementary schools during the school day.

Students wil meet at Washington Middle School at 8:00am to load the bus with instruments and we will depart for Bailey Gatzert Elementary at 8:45am. After our first show at Bailey Gatzert, students will head to John Muir Elementary for our second performance. After JohnMuir, students will return to school for lunch. Lunch will be catered for students. While transportation for the trip is covered by Friends of Washington Music, students are responsible for the cost of lunch so please return the permission slip with $10 cash or check made out to Friends of Washington Music. Students may also choose to instead bring their own lunch if they prefer. Afterlunch, the bus will leave for Thurgood Marshall Elementary for our final show before heading back to Washington Middle. Students canexpect to return to school by 2:30pm.
