Rentals & Repairs

 

If your student does not already have an instrument at home and you need to rent one, a few music store recommendations. If renting is not an option and your student and would like to borrow an instrument, please reach out to your student's music instructor, and they can help you get set up. Please note that families who rent or own their instruments are responsible for arranging all major repairs. The rental shop will be able to measure your student and assess the size of the instrument needed. Instruments & Supplies

In addition to your child’s instrument, they will need the following supplies:

Clarinet and Saxophone – at least three working reeds (suggested strength 2 or 2.5)

Flute – cleaning cloth or swab

Oboe and Bassoon – at least three working reeds (medium soft)

Trombone – slide oil, and slide grease (cleaning snake recommended)

Trumpet, French Horn, Baritone, Tuba – valve oil and slide grease (cleaning snake recommended)

Percussion – practice pad and two pairs of sticks
