Winter Concert December 12th!

Here is some information from Mr. Harrison about the Winter Concert on December 12th.

2024 Winter Band Concert Date

Hello all,
The 2024 Washington Middle School Band Concert will be on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 6:00pm in the Washington Middle School gymnasium. Performers must stay after school to set up/warm up. The concert is free to all and all are welcome to attend. Please come help us celebrate the end of the year with some great music that our students have been working hard to prepare.

Concert: Winter Concert

Date: 12-12-2024

Start Time: 6:00pm

Location: Washington Middle School Gymnasium

Call Time For Students: 4:00pm

Concert Expectations:

Students are present by call time (4:00pm) for every concert

Being absent or late to a concert will severely impact the student’s grade

Students are dressed in appropriate attire and act as professionals for all performances

Any conflicts with concerts must be discussed with the teacher once the conflict is discovered. NOT THE DAY OF THE CONCERT!!!

An alternate assignment will be made available for any student who misses a concert and is excused.

A parent note/email is required for any excuse.

Performance Attire:

Students are encouraged to wear their band uniforms if they have purchased one.

Concert Band and Jazz Band:

• Concert Black

• Nice black pants or skirt

• Nice black collared shirt or blouse

• Students may choose to wear a black suit or black dress.

• Nice shoes: No crocs, flipflops, sandals, or slides.

Intermediate Band and Beginning Band:

• Dress professionally

• Nice pants or skirt

• Nice shirt with a collar or blouse

• Students may choose to wear a dress or a suit

• Nice shoes: No crocs, flipflops, sandals, or slides
